Grays Harbor Council of Governments partners with and is a member of the Southwest Regional Transportation Planning Organization. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These reports were developed by our regional partners, Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Planning Organization and Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments<\/a>, with active participation from Grays Harbor Council of Governments. While GHCOG contributed data, technical input, and local coordination, the documents are branded under the agencies that served as the lead authors and administrators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Unified Planning Work Program<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Grays Harbor Council of Governments (GHCOG) works in partnership with the Cowlitz-Wahkiakum Council of Governments (CWCOG) to create the Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) which outlines the transportation planning efforts for the five counties represented by the Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Planning Organization (SWRTPO) including Grays Harbor County for the state fiscal years of 2026 through 2027.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

SR 105 Corridor Management Plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This plan provides a long-term framework for protecting and enhancing the scenic, cultural, and transportation qualities of State Route 105 while balancing coastal access, community needs, environmental resources, and economic opportunities along the route from Grays Harbor to Willapa Bay. This document is hosted by Washington’s Evergreen Coast on their website www.evergreencoastwa.com.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

SWRTPO Regional Trails Plan<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Developed in partnership with the Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Planning Organization and Grays Harbor County, this plan focuses on creating a connected, multi-use trail network that improves safety for people walking and biking, links communities to parks and destinations, and supports recreation, tourism, and local economic development across the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
